Summer Crafts
We'll use recycled materials to create sculptures and more!
Every Wednesday in July, 6:30 - 7:30 pm, at the Communty Hall in Heath Center.
Free. Ages 5 - 12.
Pre-registration is required; sign up at the library for any or all sessions.

July 14 - Special guest Pat Leuchtman will show us how to set up a Worm Composting bin.

Summer Reading
Sign up at the library and pick up your Reading Log. Keep track of the books you read this summer. Turn in your Reading Log in mid-August and receive a gift certificate to World Eye Bookstore. Heath Elementary School students can also use this Reading Log for the school's summer reading program. We will photocopy your completed Reading Log and send it to the school.
The Summer Reading and Craft program is supported in part by

- the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and the Boston Bruins, with funding from the Institute of Museums and Library Services, an independent federal agency that grows and sustains a Nation of Learners because lifelong learning is critical to success.
Preschool Story Hour
Preschool Story Hour will return in September 2010 (first session will be Friday, Sept. 17). . The schedule will be posted in early September.
Children (birth to age 5, older siblings welcome) and their care-givers are invited to share stories, songs, crafts and a snack. Story hour is hosted by Lyra Johnson.
Preschool Story Hour is funded by the Friends of the Heath Free Public Library.
